Morgana 2

Fata Morgana is a palatial Moroccan style house, situated on top of the mountains in San Lorenzo, central Ibiza. Sleeping 12 people, the house is a reproduction of the Mosque of Zebid in Yemen. The main part of the villa forms a cross with the focal point being the central courtyard. The courtyard along with the 12m x 5m pool form the fulcrum for the rest of the house, with all rooms and areas leading from it. One of the exits from the courtyard takes you through to the water gardens, the small lake and tea house. In front of the main part of the house is the impressive 22m x 12m swimming pool. This is an infinity pool and creates a wonderful contrast to the spectacular panoramic view of the woodlands of Ibiza, and across the sea to neighbouring Formentera. To the left of the pool is a Bedouin style tent with a dining\r\n
table to seat 16 people. There are two further dining tables and a barbecue under a wooden pagoda, just outside the kitchen, looking on to the Tea House. The Tea House is a domed, octagonal, open-sided structure surrounded by a small lake and is accessed by crossing a small footbridge. This is a wonderful spot to take tea in the afternoon, enjoying the gentle mountain breeze. It is a very romantic spot and has been used for weddings and christenings.\r\n
Further on from here you reach the formal Moorish gardens. These have typical boxed style hedges and lollipop shaped orange trees. Three small fountains and aquamarine tiles form a water line which runs back to the lake and Tea House.\r\n
The house itself comprises of a fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances including a dishwasher, waste disposal unit, washing machine and dryer. There is a huge lounge with a large screen plasma TV with satellite, DVD and CD. The lounge is very light from large windows and has Moroccan style furnishings. There is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom which both overlook the main pool and valley below. This room also has large plasma screen TV with satellite (only in english) and DVD. On the other side of the central courtyard there is one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a large double suite with en-suite shower room and jacuzzi. There are also two further double bedrooms in this area with a shared en suite shower room dividing them. On the outside of the house with its own private courtyard is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The rooms are very elegantly decorated. \r\n
Modern features of Fata Morgana include: air conditioning in all rooms, piped music and internet ADSL and wireless internet access. \r\n
