Die meisten D\u00f6rfer existierten in der R\u00f6merzeit und wurden von den Mauren bis zur R\u00fcckeroberung von Granada besetzt. Es sind ungef\u00e4hr zwanzig. Sie werden normalerweise auf H\u00fcgeln oder an den Seiten von Bergen gebaut und befestigt.<\/p>\n<p>Die wei\u00dfen D\u00f6rfer, &#8222;los pueblos blancos&#8220; auf Spanisch, zeichnen sich durch die traditionell get\u00fcnchten H\u00e4userfassaden und die roten Dachziegel aus. Ihre schr\u00e4gen, engen und gewundenen Gassen, die h\u00fcbschen kleinen Pl\u00e4tze und die F\u00fclle von Blumen, einschlie\u00dflich der Sch\u00f6nheit der Landschaften und der Sympathie ihrer Bewohner, machen sie zu einem Ort voller Charme.<\/p>\n<p>Die Stra\u00dfen zu den Wei\u00dfen D\u00f6rfern sind touristische Wege, die durch mehrere D\u00f6rfer f\u00fchren. Einige von ihnen werden sp\u00e4ter in diesem Artikel erw\u00e4hnt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arcos de la Frontera<\/strong> liegt auf einem Felsvorsprung oberhalb von &#8222;Rio Guadalete&#8220; und gilt als eines der sch\u00f6nsten D\u00f6rfer Spaniens. Dieses Dorf war die Hauptstadt von Taifa de Arcos in der muslimischen Zeit und die Hauptstadt des Herzogtums von Arcos im Jahr 1493. Seine T\u00fcrme und Kirchen zeugen von seiner historischen Vergangenheit und seine Wacht\u00fcrme bieten spektakul\u00e4re Ausblicke auf den Guadalete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ubrique<\/strong> liegt 330 Meter \u00fcber dem Meeresspiegel zwischen den Naturparks Grazalema und Alcornocales. Seine Textilindustrie stammt aus dem siebzehnten Jahrhundert. In dieser Festung nahmen die Heckensch\u00fctzen der Carlisten Zuflucht vor den Truppen Napoleons I.
