Die Alhambra wurde als Milit\u00e4rzone konzipiert und wurde Mitte des 13. Jh. Zur k\u00f6niglichen Residenz und zum Hof \u200b\u200bvon Granada, nach der Gr\u00fcndung der Nazar\u00ed de Reino und dem Bau des ersten Palastes durch den Gr\u00fcnderk\u00f6nig Mohammed Ibn Yusuf ben Nasr. besser bekannt als Alhamar.<\/p>\n
W\u00e4hrend der gesamten s. XIII, XIV und XV, die Festung wurde eine Zitadelle mit hohen Mauern und Wehrt\u00fcrmen, die zwei Hauptbereiche beherbergt: die Milit\u00e4rzone oder Alcazaba, die Kaserne der k\u00f6niglichen Garde, und die Medina oder Stadtpalast, wo der ber\u00fchmte Nazari-Palast und die \u00dcberreste der H\u00e4user der Adligen und B\u00fcrger, die dort lebten. Der Palast Karls V. (der nach der Eroberung der Stadt im Jahre 1492 von den Katholischen K\u00f6nigen erbaut wurde) befindet sich ebenfalls in der Medina.<\/p>\n

Die Monumente haben auch einen unabh\u00e4ngigen Palast vor der Alhambra, umgeben von Obstg\u00e4rten und G\u00e4rten, was das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Gl\u00fcck der grenadischen K\u00f6nige, Generalife, war.<\/p>\n
Der Name Alhambra geht auf ein arabisches Wort zur\u00fcck, das „rote Burg“ bedeutet, vielleicht aufgrund der Farbe der T\u00fcrme und Mauern, die den H\u00fcgel von La Sabica umgeben, der unter dem Licht silberfarbener Sterne, aber unter der Sonne liegt nimmt einen goldenen Farbton. Obwohl es eine poetischere Erkl\u00e4rung gibt, erz\u00e4hlt von muslimischen Chronisten, die vom Bau der Alhambra „unter dem Fackelschein sprechen. Urspr\u00fcnglich f\u00fcr milit\u00e4rische Zwecke geschaffen, war die Alhambra eine Alcazaba (Festung), ein Palast (Palast) und eine kleine Medina ( Stadt), alle zur gleichen Zeit.Dieser dreifache Charakter hilft uns, die vielen Merkmale dieses Denkmals zu verstehen.<\/p>\n

Es gibt keinen Hinweis auf die Alhambra als k\u00f6nigliche Residenz bis zum 13. Jahrhundert, obwohl die Festung seit dem 9. Jahrhundert existierte. Die ersten K\u00f6nige von Granada, die Ziritas, hatten ihre Schl\u00f6sser und Pal\u00e4ste in den H\u00fcgeln von Albaicin, von denen nur einer \u00fcbriggeblieben ist. Zards Monarchen waren wahrscheinlich die Emire, die die Alhambra ab 1238 erbauten.<\/p>\n
Der Gr\u00fcnder der Dynastie, Muhammed Al-Ahmar, begann mit der Wiederherstellung der alten Festung. Seine Arbeit wurde von seinem Sohn Muhammed II. Abgeschlossen, dessen unmittelbare Nachfolger die Reparaturen fortsetzten. Das Palastgeb\u00e4ude (genannt Casa Real Vieja) stammt aus dem 14. Jahrhundert und ist das Werk von zwei gro\u00dfen K\u00f6nigen: Yusuf I. und Muhammad V. Muhammad V., vervollst\u00e4ndigten die Versch\u00f6nerung der Pal\u00e4ste mit dem L\u00f6wen-Saal, sowie andere St\u00fccke und Befestigungen.<\/p>\n
